Friends of Tottenham Green events

Gardening the Green – Every Wednesday afternoon: weekly work sessions, 2-4ish on Tottenham Green. All hands welcomed!

Sat 21 May: Clean the Green! Clean-up litter-picking day, noon through to 3pm

Sun 5 June – Next FOTG stall at Tottenham Green Market: World Ocean Day focus, plants for sale, community info. We’re aiming to be at the market once a month through the summer. Drop by and say hello! (PS: empty plant pots, esp small ones, welcome!)

Sat 11 June: Big Lunch on the Green: bring food to share, meet neighbours and local community members

Sun 2 October: local community gardens walk, starting and ending at Tottenham Green Market, 12 noon start. Part of the first Haringey Walking Weekend.

Friday mornings: Maysie Memorial Garden, cnr Philip Lane and Jansons/Napier Rd: looking after this tiny but colourful patch of nature, 10am-12ish. http://www.facebook.com/maysiegarden/

Sun 15 May: Compost Give-away, organised by Page Green Residents Association: Bernard Rd N15, 2nd corner.

Tues 24 May: Green Gardeners Lunchtime, 12.30-2p, at Eco-Hub cafe, Lordship Rec, followed by Lordship Rec Wildlife Group activities. Fourth Tuesday each month through summer.

Sun 29 May: Riverfest, Lordship Rec, 11-6pm: including Tottenham Ploughman’s market, and range of community stalls, events, entertainments

Sat 16 July, ‘Art in the Park’ at Downhills Park
