TWFC June event – ‘Marley’ film and reggae night

From TWFC:

“One good thing about music, when it hits you feel no pain…”

(Not sure who said these wise words, but somehow it felt appropriate to mention them!)

Join us for a night of film, music, food and drink from 6.30pm on Saturday 15th June, to pay tribute to Bob Marley.

We will have:

7pm: TWFC short doc no.3 “Banksy Missing in Tottenham”, directed by Chiara Contrino

7.10pm: Guest short doc “A Day in the Life of my Stepdad” (dir. Jeremy Cole, 2013)

7.15pm: Main Feature: “Marley” (2012, 144 minutes, dir. Kevin Macdonald)

9pm: Live Reggae Concert in the Bar (Jamaican food and drink served)

Thanks once again to Rosanna for putting the superbly sharp flyer together for the event. Rosanna and Zuzanna will continue their open animation workshop series, from 3pm – 6pm on the day of the event.

For all the information you could want, and tickets, check out our website:

This time we’re also offering a discount rate for people who book their evening tickets ahead online. Reserve your place at the workshop and/or the evening event here:

This event will be hosted by the TWFC team as usual, on this occasion led wonderfully by Emma Love with Rebecca McGlynn and Joanna Fula.

We’d like to thank Penny, Kyle and the others at Tottenham Chances for all their work!

It’s our first event standing on our own feet, without the support of Film London that has made everything we’ve achieved possible until now.  Please help us charge into the future by joining us for a great night!

We’re also looking for more people to become part of the TWFC team, so if you’re interested in helping us put the events on as a volunteer – and in joining our events and creative workshops for free – check out what you can get involved in on our Volunteers page:, and drop us a line at:

We’re looking forward to Saturday 15th!

Justin and the TWFC Team
