International Womens Day in Haringey

International Women’s Day 2013 – Against the Odds
Haringey Council’s annual free event to celebrate International Women’s Day will take place on Saturday 9 March 2013. The event will be held at the College of Haringey, Enfield and North East London (Chenel), High Road, Tottenham, N15 4RU.

The theme for this year’s event is Against All Odds. Please come along and join other phenomenal women from Haringey for International Women’s Day.  Info on the LBH website.

The Second World War seems alien to those born outside of that time frame, but, there were many people, who lived through it. What was life really like for the people who lived through it? Come and share with us the experiences of living through the era.
